Mehiläinen Tapiola offers comprehensive general practitioner, paediatric and specialist services, working life/occupational services, psychotherapy services, laboratory services, imaging services (MRI scans, mammography, X-ray scans, ultrasound scans, sinus cavity cone-beam scans and dental X-rays) and Mehiläinen Sports Clinic services.
We serve at: Länsituuli 10, Level M on the side of Länsituuli shopping centre, 02100 Espoo Tapiola.
Our laboratory is open during the opening hours of the medical center and works by number or by appointment. You can come for imaging and X-ray examinations without an appointment by calling the number during the medical center's opening hours.
The psychotherapists and psychologists of Tapiola Mehiläinen are located at a different address in the Länsikulma building, at Länsituuli 1 (separate entrance between Fressi and Etola).
Urheilu Mehiläinen clinic you can book appointment to doctors who are specializied in sports medicine and orthopedics, as well as physiotherapists. Appointment via normal appointment booking py phone or on web.
Our unit has a separate room for small surgical operations.
The unit also has an accident emergency clinic. We treat all accidents, such as wounds, fractures, burns, eye injuries, puncture wounds, sprains and strains. The emergency department is open to people of all ages. You can arrive to clinic by walking in without time or with appointment. The emergency department will refer you to further investigations. In addition, the accident emergency clinic offers its customers a fast individual cast service and extensive imaging possibilities.

At Mehiläinen Tapiola, you can register in the following ways:
Self-registration kiosks: You can use the self-registration kiosks located on the M-floor of the medical center.
OmaMehiläinen app: Through the mobile app, you can conveniently register anywhere before your appointment. However, we recommend registering near the reception room to avoid being called before your arrival. The app allows you to check the exact details of your appointment, including the room number and floor.
Cashier Services: Cashier services are located on the M-floor.
Mehiläinen Tapiola is located on the M-floor of the Länsituuli shopping center, which is connected to the Ainoa shopping center. Mehiläinen Tapiola is on the same corridor as K-Supermarket and S-market.
Arrival by car: The easiest way to reach the medical center is by parking in the Tapiola Park parking hall. Parking is paid and can be paid via the Aimo Park mobile app or at the ticket machine in the parking hall.
Accessible parking: Accessible parking spaces are located in the Tapiola Park parking hall, immediately adjacent to the elevators.
Arrival by taxi or drop-off: Taxis and drop-off vehicles can stop near the main doors at Länsituuli 10, where there is an elevator to the M-floor. We are located immediately to the left upon exiting the elevators on the M-floor.
Arrival by public transport: If you arrive to Mehiläinen Tapiola via public transport from the HSL area (Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Kerava, Kirkkonummi, and Sipoo), you can use the Reittiopas.fi route and schedule service provided by HSL.
Arrival by metro: There is an indoor connection from Tapiola metro station to the Ainoa shopping center. Take the escalator from the platform area on the Länsituuli side to the M-level. Head towards the bus terminal and turn left into Ainoa. Continue towards the grocery stores (K-supermarket and Food Market Herkku). Our entrance is located to the left of the grocery stores.
Arrival by bus: Tapiola bus terminal is located on the M-level.
Arrival by bicycle or by foot: You can leave your bicycle at the Tapiola bike park, for example, at Merituulentori, east of Tuulikinsilta, or Länsituulen shopping street. There are also city bike stations nearby. There is no bicycle storage on the M-floor of the Länsituuli shopping center.
Accessible entrance: The accessible entrance to Mehiläinen is from the Tapiola Park parking hall, from where you can take the elevators to the M-floor where Mehiläinen is located.
Elevator accessibility: The shopping center's elevators are accessible.
Accessible restrooms: The facility has an accessible restroom, which is clearly marked.
Signage: There are clear signs at the entrance and inside the premises.
Lightning: The interior has sufficient and even lighting that does not glare.
Waiting area seating: The waiting areas have seats of various heights and types, including low, high, with armrests, and without armrests.
Mobility options: There is ample space for moving with aids, such as wheelchairs.
Assistive devices: The medical center has assistive devices available for loan, which can be picked up next to the cashier services in the waiting area.

Tapaturmapäivystys palvelee kaikenikäisiä asiakkaita ilman ajanvarausta ja/tai ajanvarausajalla aina toimipisteen ollessa avoinna.
Tapaturmataitoiset yleislääkärimme, ortopedit tai erikoistuvat ortopedimme hoitavat urheiluvammat, työ-, liikenne- ja vapaa-ajan tapaturmat.Yleisimpiä hoitoon hakeutumisen syitä ovat murtumat, nyrjähdykset,venähdykset, kaatumiset, liukastumiset, palovammat ja haavat.Tarvittaessa ohjaamme jatkohoitoon.
Useimmiten tarpeen vaatiessa mahdollisuus käynnin yhteydessä laboratoriotutkimuksiin, sekä kattavasti kuvantamistutkimuksiin. Yksikössämme on mahdollista ottaa röntgen-, ultraäänitutkimukset, sekä myös magneettikuvaukset (magneetti useimmiten myös vkl). Tarvittaessa leikkaushoito järjestyy myös Töölön Mehiläiseen tapaturmatiimin toimesta.
Vanhoissa vammoissa suositamme normaalisti varaamaan ajan ortopedin ajanvarausvastaanotolle.

Näytteenottoon voi varata ajan Mehiläisen verkkoajanvarauksen kautta, OmaMehiläisestä tai tulla ilman ajanvarausta vuoronumerolla.
Näytepurkit voi noutaa laboratoriosta vuoronumerolla. Kotona otetut näytteet voi palauttaa tarvittavat lomaketiedot täytettyinä laboratorion odotusaulassa olevaan lukittuun postilaatikkoon, jossa on ovikello tai ottamalla vuoronumeron laboratorioon.
Ajanvarausta tarvitsevat tutkimukset:
Virtaustilavuus-spirometria ja bronkodilataatio, holter- sekä yöpolygrafia-tutkimuksiin on varattava aika joko verkkoajanvarauksesta, suoraan toimipisteestä tai asiakaspalvelun kautta p. 010 414 00. Teemme näitä tutkimuksia vain 15-vuotta täyttäneille. Näihin tutkimuksiin tarvitsee aina lääkärin lähetteen.

Saat halutessasi Mehiläisen lääkäri- ja diagnostiikkapalveluiden potilastiedot itsellesi myös paperisena. Potilastietoina voidaan toimittaa esimerkiksi lääkärikäyntien potilaskertomukset ja Mehiläisessä otetut tutkimuskuvat, kuten röntgenkuvat.

Rauhoittavien lääkkeiden tai unilääkkeiden reseptejä ei uusita ilman vastaanottokäyntejä.
Mehiläisessä kirjoitetut reseptit voi uusia myös OmaMehiläinen-palvelun kautta.
Soittopyynnöt lääkäreille ja muille vastaanottajille varataan Mehiläisen verkkoajanvarauksesta tai puhelimitse 010 414 00 tai OmaMehiläisen kautta.
Lääkärit ja vastaanottajat hoitavat omien potilaiden soittopyynnöt vastaanoton kuluessa ja voivat halutessaan veloittaa asiakasta soittopyyntöön käyttämästään ajasta.
Mehiläisen potilasyhteyshenkilö
Mehiläisen potilasyhteyshenkilö antaa potilaalle neuvoja ja tietoa hänen oikeuksistaan ja avustaa tarvittaessa potilasta vahinkoepäilyn, muistutuksen, kantelun tai korvaushakemuksen teossa.
Toimipisteen potilasyhteyshenkilötoiminnasta vastaa Mehiläisen keskitetty potilasyhteyshenkilötiimi.

Hyvinvointialueiden potilasasiavastaavat ja sosiaaliasiavastaavat
Vuoden 2024 alusta alkaen kullakin hyvinvointialueella on lisäksi potilasasiavastaava ja sosiaaliasiavastaava, joilla on velvollisuus neuvoa ja tiedottaa potilaan oikeuksista alueellaan. Potilasasiavastaavien ja sosiaaliasiavastaavien yhteystiedot löydät oman hyvinvointialueesi kotisivuilta.
