I am Sirkku Mustonen, a specialist in urology and surgery. I have been practicing as a urologist since 1998 and as a specialist in surgery since 1996. In my clinic in Espoo, I treat all urological conditions in men and women over 16 years of age.

My special areas of expertise include urinary tract disorders, prostate issues, erectile dysfunction, and vasectomies.I have approximately 30 years of experience working for HUS, and currently, I work exclusively in the private sector. I perform procedures such as vasectomies, circumcisions, cystoscopies, hydrocele aspiration, removal of scrotal skin lesions, as well as ultrasound examinations of the testicles, bladder, and prostate, at the Tapiola clinic.

My educational background is strong, and I graduated as a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery in 2001. Additionally, I completed leadership training for physicians in 2014.

My treatment philosophy is based on my extensive experience, through which I always approach patients as individuals, valuing their uniqueness. I strive to be empathetic and always adhere to current treatment recommendations and good medical practice. At my clinic, you can speak openly about your concerns, and no issue is too small to discuss. I aim to create a calm atmosphere where building trust is paramount, making it easy for patients to bring up even difficult matters.
