The OmaMehiläinen service is free of charge and can be accessed online or through the app. The service is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. OmaMehiläinen enables flexible and cost-effective services and appointment booking 24/7, regardless of time and place.
OmaMehiläinen includes the following services:
- Digital Clinic Occupational Health Care Centre, which employs a multidisciplinary team. The team consists of occupational health physicians, general practitioners, occupational health nurses, occupational physiotherapists and nurses, as well as customer service advisors. Occupational health specialists are available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. General practitioners and nurses are available 24/7.
- An occupational health view, where you can find information on occupational health care services and documents, information on your designated occupational health team, a communications channel, sick leave certificates and other forms.
- Laboratory test results as well as X-ray, MRI and ultrasound examination results.
- Digitally supported coaching programmes which are a new way of supporting lifestyle changes, such as increasing physical activity, relieving stress or losing weight. The programme’s contents and tasks can be found in OmaMehiläinen, and an occupational health specialist is available through the chat.
- A free video library (in Finnish) and video coaching in cooperation with Lifeclass.
- The possibility to add the details of your child or another family member to the service, after which you can, for example, book appointments for them, renew their prescriptions and view their test results.
- Effortless prescription renewal regardless of your location.

When should you use the Digital Clinic Occupational Health Care Centre?
Occupational health physicians, occupational health nurses and occupational physiotherapists are available at the Digital Clinic Occupational Health Care Centre from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. General practitioners and nurses are available 24/7. The service is based on a service needs assessment carried out with an automated health questionnaire that is free of charge to companies. Based on the answers to the questionnaire, the employee is directed to the most suitable occupational health specialist.
Using the Digital Clinic Occupational Health Care Centre saves time and travel expenses, and it helps customers avoid having to move around unnecessarily when ill. The service is also always quickly available, allowing treatment to begin immediately.
Once you start using the Digital Clinic Occupational Health Care Centre, the availability of end-user services will improve, using occupational health care services will be smoother and the designated occupational health team of your company will have more time for supporting demanding work ability customers and the management of work ability. The Digital Clinic Occupational Health Care Centre can be contacted about any health- or work ability-related concern or symptom. The multidisciplinary occupational health team will start working on the matter immediately, and, if necessary, arrange the most suitable follow-up treatment path for the situation. Especially the following symptoms and situations can be treated at the Digital Clinic Occupational Health Care Centre:
- Symptoms that do not require examination at a clinic (e.g. respiratory infections, allergy symptoms, dermatitis, urinary tract infections, headache, eye symptoms, abdominal symptoms)
- Acute musculoskeletal problems without a prior accident
- Renewing a prescription – also in chronic diseases
- Low-threshold support for mood, sleep or lifestyle changes
- Need for referral to, for example, a specialist or laboratory tests – the occupational health physicians of the Digital Clinic Occupational Health Care Centre are occupational health physicians appointed for the company
Follow-up and monitoring in work ability challenges (such as repeated/prolonged absences), and, for example, suspected occupational diseases are directed from the Digital Clinic Occupational Health Care Centre to a designated occupational health team at a physical clinic after initial guidance and examinations.
- The prices of the appointments of occupational health professionals at the Digital Clinic Occupational Health Care Centre are determined according to the occupational health price list of the respective occupational health specialist.
If the case cannot be handled remotely, we will guide the customer to a clinic. We do not charge for appointments where treatment cannot be started remotely.

Digiklinikan työterveysasemalla palvelevat työterveyslääkärit, työterveyshoitajat ja työfysioterapeutit klo 7–19. Yleislääkärit sekä sairaanhoitajat palvelevat 24/7. Palvelu perustuu palvelutarpeenarvioon, jonka tekee automatisoitu, yrityksille veloitukseton vointikysely. Vointikyselyn vastausten perusteella työntekijä ohjataan sopivimmalle työterveyden asiantuntijalle.
Digiklinikan työterveysaseman käyttö säästää aikaa ja matkakuluja sekä sen avulla pystytään välttämään tarpeetonta liikkumista sairaana. Palvelu on myös aina saatavilla nopeasti, jolloin hoito pääsee alkamaan välittömästi.
Digiklinikan työterveysaseman käyttöönoton myötä loppukäyttäjän palveluiden saatavuus paranee, työterveyspalveluiden käyttö on entistä sujuvampaa ja yritysten nimetyille työterveystiimeille vapautuu aikaa vaativien työkykyasiakkaiden tukemiseen ja työkykyjohtamiseen. Digiklinikan työterveysasemalle voi olla yhteydessä mihin tahansa terveyteen tai työkykyyn liittyvään huoleen tai oireeseen liittyen. Työterveyden moniammatillinen asiantuntijatiimi aloittaa tilanteen hoitamisen välittömästi, sekä tarvittaessa järjestää tilanteeseen sopivimman jatkohoitopolun. Erityisen hyvin Digiklinikan työterveysasemalla voidaan hoitaa seuraavat oireet ja tilanteet:
Oireet, joissa ei tarvetta tutkimiseen vastaanotolla (esim. hengitystieinfektiot, allergiaoireet, ihottumat, virtsatieinfektiot, päänsärky, silmäoireet, vatsaoireet).
Akuutit tuki- ja liikuntaelinvaivat, joihin ei liity tapaturmaa.
Reseptin uusiminen – myös pitkäaikaissairaudet
Matalan kynnyksen tuki mielialaan, uneen tai elämäntapamuutokseen liittyen.
