1984 valmistuin Tarton Yliopiston lääketieteellisestä tiedekunnasta.

1984-1988 erikoistuva lääkäri ja samassa Tarton Yliopiston onkologian ja onkokirurgian kliininen opettaja.

1988-1990 Neuvostoliiton Tiedeakademian Onkologian Tieteellisen Tutkimuskeskuksen kliininen ordinaattori Moskovassa.

1990-1993 Viron Syöpäkeskus urologi.

1993-1994 Vieraileva urologi MD Anderson Cancer Centerissa urologian osastolla Houstonissa, Texas, USA. Tieteellinen mentori prof. Andrew von Eschenbach.

1994-2001 Tallinnan Magdaleena sairaalan urologian ja yleiskirurgian osastonylilääkäri.

1995-1996 Vieraileva urologi Tel Aviv University Ichilow Medical Centerissa, tieteellinen mentori prof. Haim Matzkin.

2001 EU urologiantentit Tukholmassa ja Viennassa, FEBU

2001 Tallinna Magdaleena sairaalassa kirurginen palvelu suljettu.

2001-2002 Urologian overlege Haukeland Sykehus, Bergeni Yliopisto, Norja.

2002-2005 Urologi Keski-Suomen Keskussairaalassa.

2005-2016 Urologian apulaisylilääkäri ja osastonylilääkäri Päijät-Hämeen keskussairaalassa.

Kielitaito: viro, suomi ja venäjä (äidinkielenä), englanti työkielenä, saksa ja sujuva norja.
