At the orthopaedist’s appointment, you will discuss the need for surgery, possible treatment options and the risks of surgery with the orthopaedist. If surgery is deemed to be necessary, you will be directed to follow-up procedures, which include planning the surgery schedule, preliminary examinations and the necessary preparations before the procedure.
