Outsourcing of Health Centre services
Mehiläinen Health Centre introduces a customer-oriented approach to the public social and health care services that municipalities are required to organise.We are currently responsible for the public primary health care service production of more than 300,000 Finns.
Our operations focus on customer orientation, rapid availability of services and continuous development. The development of operations is based on the feedback received, measured data and the freedom of health centre staff to develop operations in a more effective and customer-oriented direction.
In our work, we aim at premium quality, availability and efficient operational methods. We measure our operations with a number of different indicators in real time, which enable us to steer and develop our service production specifically at each health centre.
Mehiläinen Health Centres currently operate in the following locations:
Espoo, Iitti, Inkoo, Jyväskylä, Kemi, Keminmaa, Kärkölä, Lahti, Siikalatva, Tampere, Tornio, Turku.
In our operating model, the municipality and the private service provider form a partnership and set the goals for the operations, and oversee the operations in close cooperation.
The operating model comprises the following entities:
- Overall outsourcing of social welfare and health care services
- Outsourcing of primary health care, including school health care and maternity and child health clinics
- Outsourcing of oral health care services
- Outsourcing of home care and home nursing services
- Digital services
For the principals, our operating model guarantees effective services, the cost development of which is clear throughout the contract period. For customers, the availability of our services is excellent, which is reflected in high customer satisfaction.
