Mehiläinen supports DNA in everyday life and strategy
At DNA, occupational health care services are an important part of supporting well-being
DNA is one of Finland’s leading telecommunications companies. The company employs around 1,700 people across Finland and serves customers in more than 60 stores. For DNA, everything they do comes down to people — both their customers and their staff.
Occupational well-being is essential for DNA. The company’s strategic goal is to be the best place to work and learn. This goal is supported by an employer promise that is summarised as a people-oriented, unique DNA. DNA wants to implement management in a people-oriented way, and working life is seen holistically, where work and leisure time balance exist in a good balance.
Occupational health care services are an important part of supporting well-being. DNA particularly values Mehiläinen’s comprehensive, preventive and fast services. The cooperation focuses on ensuring that the personnel receive quick help with everyday challenges, while at the same time building sustainable well-being in the long term.
DNA and Mehiläinen have been working together for a long time. The long-term relationship with the designated contact persons and the jointly refined processes have enabled efficient and flexible cooperation. The personnel is also consulted in the development of services: feedback is actively collected and the activities are improved accordingly.
"For DNA, preventive action is key. It can be used to prevent long-term illnesses and disabilities. The results are measured, for example, by the number of sickness-related absences, but the most important part is long-term and strategic cooperation, in which both parties play an active role," says Marko Rissanen, HR Director at DNA Plc.
