Mehiläinen Turku serves general practitioner and occupational doctor services, as well as comprehensive medical specialist services. There are, inter alia, a big pediatric center. In addition to doctors, there are also a memory nurse, a chiropodist, an asthma- and allergy nurse as well as nutritionists and psychologists holding reception.
Occupational health nurses and the receptions nurses serve by appointment. At the nurses reception one can get vaccinations, remove sutures and tend to wounds and cuts.
The laboratory is open every day. You can book an appointment to the laboratory on phone or via Internet. You can also queue to the sampling. To heart examinations like cardiac stress test and heart ultrasound examinations you have to book an appointment from the laboratory.
In the imaging unit the general radiography (plain x-rays) is done without an appointment. To ultrasound examinations, mammography’s, MRI’s, and certain special examinations you need to book an appointment from the x-ray or MRI.
At Mehiläinen Turku Kauppiaskatu, you can register in the following ways:
Self-registration kiosks: You can use the self-registration kiosks located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the medical center.
OmaMehiläinen app: Through the mobile app, you can conveniently register anywhere before your appointment. However, we recommend registering near the reception room to avoid being called before your arrival. The app allows you to check the exact details of your appointment, including the room number and floor.
Cashier Services: Cashier services are located on the 2nd floor, in the main lobby.
Mehiläinen Turku Kauppiaskatu is located in the center of Turku, near the Turku Market Square. Entrances to the facility are at Kauppiaskatu 8 and Aurakatu 9.
Arrival by car: The facility is most easily accessed by parking in the P-Louhi parking garage, from where you can take an elevator directly to Mehiläinen's medical center.
Parking: The nearest parking areas are P-Louhi (Läntinen Pitkäkatu 12 B, Turku) and Toriparkki (Yliopistonkatu, Turku). Entry and exit to P-Louhi are at Läntinen Pitkäkatu 12b. The parking is chargeable, and you can pay by using a payment machine or by using the Taskuparkki app in P-Louhi and the Parkman app in Toripark.
Accessible parking: There are ten accessible parking spaces in P-Louhi.
Arrival by taxi or drop-off: Taxis and accompanier vehicles can stop directly in front of the entrances on both Kauppiaskatu and Aurakatu.
Arrival by public transport: The medical center is located by the Turku Market Square, where all Turku region buses stop.
Accessible entrance: Entrances from Kauppiaskatu and Aurakatu are accessible. The Kauppiaskatu entrance has a ramp, and the Aurakatu entrance is at ground level. Both entrances have automatic doors.
Elevator accessibility: There are four elevators in the building, all of which are accessible.
Accessible restrooms: Accessible restrooms are available on the 1st and 2nd floors of the medical center.
Signage: There are clear signs at the entrance and inside the premises.
Lightning: The interior has sufficient and even lighting that does not glare.
Waiting area seating: The waiting areas have seats of various heights and types.
Mobility options: There is ample space for moving with aids, such as wheelchairs.
Assistive devices: There are two wheelchairs available for loan, located near the cashier services on the 2nd floor.

Laboratorioyksikkö toimii ajanvarauspainotteisesti. Palvelemme myös vuoronumerolla tulijoita sekä lääkärin vastaanotolta tulevia päivystysasiakkaita. Ajanvarausasiakkaat ja päivystykset palvellaan aina ensisijaisesti. Kaikkiin kliinisen fysiologian tutkimuksiin vaaditaan ajanvaraus.

Saat halutessasi Mehiläisen lääkäri- ja diagnostiikkapalveluiden potilastiedot itsellesi. Potilastietoina voidaan toimittaa esimerkiksi lääkärikäyntien potilaskertomukset ja Mehiläisessä otetut tutkimuskuvat, kuten röntgenkuvat.

Huomioithan, että asioidessasi Mehiläisessä tarvitset mukaasi voimassa olevan henkilöllisyystodistuksen (kuvallinen henkilökortti, passi tai ajokortti).
Laskutus tapahtuu heti vastaanoton jälkeen kassalla. Maksutavat ovat pankkikortti, luottokortti ja erämaksu.

Rauhoittavien lääkkeiden tai unilääkkeiden reseptejä ei uusita ilman vastaanottokäyntiä.

Mehiläisen potilasyhteyshenkilö antaa potilaalle neuvoja ja tietoa hänen oikeuksistaan ja avustaa tarvittaessa potilasta vahinkoepäilyn, muistutuksen, kantelun tai korvaushakemuksen teossa.
