Our BeeHealthy software development team builds digital solutions for both healthcare professionals and end customers. We are creating a platform that adapts and grows based on our customers’ needs.
We are looking for an experienced IAM (Identity and Access Management) engineer to join our IAM team to help take our product to the next level and meet the growing needs for a scalable and widely integrated platform. We are looking for engineers who are great and proactive communicators, have a product-driven mindset and who enjoy taking ownership over the product that they are building.
Our IAM team is at center of excellence for everything related to authentication in our product. You responsibilities would include among others:
Designing, implementing IAM capabilities in B2B and B2C contexts for a highly available healthcare platform
Support/Incidence related responsibilities related to production environments
Translating regulatory requirements into technical controls and implementations
Access Governance & Access Reviews
Mentoring junior engineers
Must have skills and qualifications
10 years of software development experience, at least 5 years of experience with IAM related implementations or integrations.
IAM experience from SaaS
Hands on development experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0
Strong understanding of IAM concepts: authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, RBAC, ABAC
Hands on experience with Frontend (session management etc) and Server side implementation related to AuthN and AuthZ
Few years of hands on development experience with Nodejs and typescript
Experience with one or more with IdP systems such as Okta, Ping Identity, Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID etc
Strong Documentation Skills
Considered a plus
Prior experience related to routing user traffic with reverse proxies, traffic gateways etc
Experience of working in a highly regulated and compliance focused industry (ie. Healthcare)
Compliance related experience
Experience designing IAM controls to meet compliance requirements
Experience with participating in audits and doing related documentation
Prior information security exposure (threat modeling, pen testing, audit readiness etc)
