Junior Engineer for BeeHealthy
Junior Engineer
Join BeeHealthy, a subsidiary of Mehiläinen. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in a startup-like environment, with the backing of our parent company.
Do you want a meaningful role in promoting people’s health and wellbeing, with both responsibility and freedom? Are you eager to learn modern technologies and gain hands-on experience in building solutions that will be used both in Finland and abroad?
Our BeeHealthy software development team builds digital solutions for both healthcare professionals and end customers. We are creating a platform that adapts and grows based on our customers’ needs.
As a Junior Engineer at BeeHealthy, your work will be a mix of system configuration and development. Because our platform is delivered as white label SaaS, a key part of your role will be setting up and configuring the system for new customers, investigating issues, and solving problems proactively and with initiative. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to improving the platform itself and learn from experienced developers.
What we’re looking for
We don’t expect you to know everything yet — we’re looking for motivated team players who want to learn and grow with us. Ideally, you have:
- 1-3 years of experience with software development
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in an IT-related field
- Experience from studies, projects, or personal work with JavaScript/TypeScript/React and relational databases is a plus. However, knowledge of other programming languages is also a good foundation if you’re motivated to learn new technologies.
- Curiosity and willingness to configure systems, solve problems, and investigate issues as part of delivering our platform to customers, with a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn by taking initiative.
- Interest in learning how to build and work with micro-services.
- Some exposure to cloud services (AWS or Azure) and Kubernetes — experience is a plus but not required.
- An eagerness to explore software architecture and modern development practices over time.
- Fluency in English (Finnish is a plus).
What we offer
- Meaningful product and job in the healthcare sector.
- Opportunities to progress your career in managerial or individual contributor tracks
- A chance to learn from experienced colleagues while working on solutions used by a growing global audience.
- Flexibility in your work location: Helsinki, Tampere — with opportunity to work remotely.
- An employer that invests in both digital services and the wellbeing of its employees
- Team events and a great, supportive community.
