At Mehiläinen in Kuopio, you can register in the following ways:
Self-registration kiosks: You can use the self-registration kiosks located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the medical center.
Omamehiläinen app: Through the mobile app, you can conveniently register anywhere before your appointment. However, we recommend registering near the reception room to avoid being called before your arrival. The app allows you to check the exact details of your appointment, including the room number and floor.
Cashier Services: Cashier services are located on the 2nd floor.
Kuopio Mehiläinen is located near Kuopio Market Square, at Kauppakatu 39.
Arrival by car: The medical center does not have separate customer parking. The nearest parking area is Toriparkki under the square.
Parking: Parking in Toriparkki is subject to a fee. Payment can be made via parking app and card payment. Street parking is possible on Vuorikatu.
Accessible parking: Toriparkki has 20 accessible parking spaces.
Arrival by taxi or drop-off: Taxis and drop-off vehicles can stop briefly on the Kauppakatu side in front of the A-door, but parking is not allowed there.
Arrival by public transport: Buses stop at the square, about 100 meters from the facility.
Arrival by bicycle or by foot: Bicycles can be parked on the Käsityökatu side. It is easy to arrive on foot from both the A and B doors.
Other
Access to the medical center, laboratory, and hospital is via the A-door on the Kauppakatu side and the B-door on the Käsityökatu side. During the summer, Käsityökatu is under renovation, which complicates access to the B-door.
Access to occupational health on the 3rd floor and rooms 401-419 on the 4th floor is via the A-door on the Kauppakatu side or the B-door on Käsityökatu.
Imaging is located at ground level on the 1st floor, with access from the Käsityökatu side.
Accessible entrance: The A-door has an accessible entrance. The B-door has a ramp and one step.
Door accessibility: The doors are wide enough for wheelchairs and strollers, but they are not automatic.
Signage and lighting: There are clear signs and sufficient, non-glare lighting at the entrance and indoors.
Elevator accessibility: Elevators in both the A and B stairwells provide accessible access to different floors.
Accessible restrooms: Accessible restrooms are available on all floors and are clearly marked.
Mobility options and assistive devices: There is enough space to move around with a wheelchair. Assistive devices, such as a wheelchair and crutches, are available for loan at the reception on the 2nd floor.

Tapaturmapäivystys palvelee kaikenikäisiä asiakkaita ilman ajanvarausta ja/tai ajanvarausajalla aina toimipisteen ollessa avoinna. Asiakkainamme Tapaturmapäivystyksessä ovat sekä aikuis- että lapsipotilaat
Päivystävät tapaturmalääkärimme hoitavat urheiluvammat, työ-, liikenne- ja vapaa-ajan tapaturmat. Yleisimpiä hoitoon hakeutumisen syitä ovat murtumat, nyrjähdykset, venähdykset, kaatumiset, liukastumiset, palovammat ja haavat. Tarvittaessa ohjaamme jatkohoitoon.
Tarvittavat laboratorio- ja kuvantamistutkimukset (röntgen- ja ultraäänitutkimukset sekä KKTT) ovat mahdollista suorittaa useimmiten käynnin yhteydessä. Yksikössämme on mahdollista ottaa röntgen-, ultraäänitutkimukset, sekä mahdollisuus myös MRI-kuvaukseen (useimmiten myös vkl).

Laboratorio sijaitsee lääkärikeskuksen 2. kerroksessa. Suosittelemme asioimaan laboratoriossamme ensisijaisesti ajanvarauksella. Palvelemme lisäksi ilman ajanvarausta saapuvia asiakkaita vuoronumerolla ja lääkärin vastaanotolta tulevia päivystyspotilaita. Huomioithan, että ilman ajanvarausta saapuville asiakkaille voi aamun ruuhkatilanteissa esiintyä odotusaikaa – kiitos kärsivällisyydestäsi.
Laboratorio on avoinna laboratorion aukioloaikojen mukaan. Ajan voi varata Mehiläisen verkkoajanvarauksen kautta ajanvaraus.mehilainen.fi . Tutkimukset tehdään vain arkisin.

Mehiläisessä ei tehdä sydäntahdistin-, neurostimulaattori- tai sisäkorva proteesipotilaiden MRI-kuvauksia.
Kuvantamisen kaikkiin tutkimuksiin tarvitaan aina lääkärin lähete.

Itseilmoittautumisautomaatit sijaitsevat 2., 3. ja 4. kerroksissa. Ilmoittautumisen voi tehdä myös 2. kerroksen vastaanotossa tai OmaMehiläinen -sovelluksen kautta.
Laboratorioon tultaessa ei tarvitse ilmoittautua.
Kassapalvelut sijaitsevat 2. kerroksessa.
Huomioithan, että asioidessasi Mehiläisessä tarvitset mukaasi voimassa olevan henkilöllisyystodistuksen (kuvallinen henkilökortti, passi tai ajokortti).
Laskutus tapahtuu heti vastaanoton jälkeen kassalla. Maksutavat ovat pankkikortti, luottokortti ja erämaksu.

Saat halutessasi Mehiläisen lääkäri- ja diagnostiikkapalveluiden potilastiedot itsellesi myös paperisena. Potilastietoina voidaan toimittaa esimerkiksi lääkärikäyntien potilaskertomukset ja Mehiläisessä otetut tutkimuskuvat, kuten röntgenkuvat.
