Yleislääkärin vastaanotolla tehdään mm. ajoterveystarkastuksia, perussairauksien hoitoa, toimenpiteitä, kuten luomienpoistot yms pienet polikliiniset toimenpiteet.
Toimipisteessä on myös laboratoriopalvelut ja kuvantamisen palveluista ultraäänitutkimukset.

At Mehiläinen Suomussalmi, you can register in the following ways:
Omamehiläinen app: Through the mobile app, you can conveniently register anywhere before your appointment. However, we recommend registering near the reception room to avoid being called before your arrival. The app allows you to check the exact details of your appointment, including the room number and floor.
Mehiläinen Suomussalmi is located in the same building as the Suomussalmi health station, at Välskärinkuja 2. Mehiläinen has its own entrance at the end of the health station.
Parking: When arriving by car, you can park in front of the facility or at the health station's parking lot. Both offer free parking.
Accessible parking: There are two accessible parking spots in front of the facility.
Arrival by taxi or drop-off: Taxis and accompanier's cars can temporarily stop directly in front of the facility entrance.
Arrival by bicycle: Bicycles can be left in front of the facility door.
Accessible entrance: The facility entrance is accessible. There is a ramp at the entrance.
Accessible restrooms: The facility has a customer restroom equipped for the disabled.
Signage: There are clear signs at the entrance and inside the building.
Lighting: The indoor lighting is sufficient, even, and non-glaring.
Waiting area seating: The waiting areas have seats of various heights and types, including those with and without armrests.
Mobility options: There is ample space to move around with a wheelchair within the facility premises.
Assistive devices: The facility does not have assistive devices available for loan, such as wheelchairs.

Laboratoriomme palvelee vain ajanvarauksella. Näytteenotto on avoinna pääsääntöisesti tiistaisin ja torstaisin. Päivystysasiakkaat ja suoraan vastaanotolta tulevat asiakkaat palvellaan mahdollisimman pian ajanvarauslistan tilanteen mukaan.

OmaMehiläinen-palvelu on nopein ja vaivattomin keino tarkistaa omat potilastiedot, tutkimustiedot ja tutkimuskuvat. Saat halutessasi Mehiläisen lääkäri- ja diagnostiikkapalveluiden potilastiedot itsellesi myös paperisena. Potilastietoina voidaan toimittaa esimerkiksi lääkärikäyntien potilaskertomukset ja Mehiläisessä otetut tutkimuskuvat, kuten röntgenkuvat.Lue lisää potilastietojen tilaamisesta Mehiläisen verkkosivuilta
Toimipisteessä ei ole omaa röntgeniä. Asiakkaat voivat käydä natiiviröntgentutkimuksissa joko Kainuun hyvinvointialueen röntgenissä ( johon lääkäri ohjaa lähetteen ) tai Mehiläinen Kajaanin lääkärikeskuksessa.
Ultraäänitutkimukset tehdään Suomussalmen Mehiläisessä kerran kuukaudessa. Ajan tutkimuksiin voi varata www.mehilainen.fi, OmaMehiläinen -sovelluksella tai soittamalla ajanvarausnumeroon 010 414 00( 24/7) . Ultraäänitutkimukseen tarvitaan aina lääkärin lähete.
Suomussalmella Kainuun hyvinvointialueen röntgen on natiiviröntgenkuvauksiin avoinna ma–to klo 8–15.30 pe klo 8–14, ajanvarus puh. 044 797 4352, Välskärinkuja 2 , sama kiinteistö missä Mehiläinen on (Suomussalmen terveysasema)
