Using Mehiläinen's services

• Prices

  Up-to-date prices for appointments, examinations, and operations can be found on Mehiläinen's website. On the page, you can also see service fees and instructions for possible Kela reimbursements. Prices may vary according to service, specialist, and location.

• Visiting Mehiläinen

  When visiting Mehiläinen, please bring a valid photo ID, such as an identity card, passport, or driving licence.

  You can find information about the available payment methods on the Payment Methods page.

• Requesting patient records

  You can easily access your patient records, test results, and medical images in the OmaMehiläinen service.

  If you wish, you can also request paper copies of your patient records from Mehiläinen’s medical and diagnostic services. These may include, for example, medical records from your doctor’s appointments and diagnostic images taken at Mehiläinen, such as X-ray images.

• Prescription renewal

  You can renew prescriptions received from Mehiläinen in the OmaMehiläinen app or online service. You can also request a renewal by leaving a call-back request for your attending physician through customer service.

  Prescriptions written at a public health centre or elsewhere can be renewed through the Digital Clinic's remote physician appointment found in OmaMehiläinen. Read more detailed instructions on the Prescription renewal page.

• Callback requests

  You can request a callback from the expert who treated you, such as a doctor, nurse, or other healthcare professional. You can easily submit a callback request through OmaMehiläinen, Mehiläinen’s online appointment booking service, or by contacting our customer service.

• Patient contact person

  Mehiläinen's patient contact person advises on patient rights and, if necessary, assists in making a suspected injury report, a reminder, a complaint, or a compensation claim. The patient contact person activities at Mehiläinen's locations are managed by Mehiläinen's centralised patient contact person team.
