Unit Presentation
Mehiläinen Espoo Westend (formerly Cognimed Espoo) is located with good transport connections in Espoo Westend, and there is ample parking in the area. We offer speech therapy services in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
Client Visits
Speech therapists conduct appointments at the unit, as well as home, daycare, and school visits in the client's everyday environment. Client visits are made not only in Espoo but also extensively in nearby areas (e.g., Helsinki, Vantaa, and Lohja). Milja Hilakivi serves as the unit's regional manager.
Speech Therapy
In Espoo, we are an official service provider for Kela-funded speech therapy, and in addition, we also accept clients with payment commitments from the region's municipalities and HUS. Our speech therapists are extensively trained in the rehabilitation of linguistic skills, speech production, interaction, and eating. More than 15 therapists work at the unit, conducting visits both at the clinic and in the client's everyday environment.
