Through learning and insight, lasting changes are made possible, which can be applied according to your life situation and, for example, job description, taking into account your own resources, health, and other individual factors.

The primary goal of the coaching programme is a permanent lifestyle change towards a healthier direction, taking into account a flexible relationship with food, and finding changes that feel meaningful to oneself. The secondary goal of the coaching programme is permanent weight loss, which often comes through the first goal. Positive changes in health can also occur regardless of weight. Even a small (5-10%), permanent weight loss is significantly more beneficial than rapid weight loss by means that cannot be maintained for years and decades.
After the coaching programme, you will have the tools and understanding to continue independently towards better well-being. If necessary, you can seek appointments with other Mehiläinen specialists, such as a dietitian or psychologist, to deepen what you have learned or to receive additional support.

Lifestyle change means a comprehensive and permanent change in lifestyles that promote health and well-being. It can include changes in eating habits, exercise, sleep quality, and stress management.
Lifestyle change focuses more broadly on well-being and health-promoting choices, while weight loss is often a consequence of lifestyle change. Lifestyle change aims for permanent habits that support health regardless of weight.
Many factors influence weight management and eating behaviour, such as genetics, psychological factors, socioeconomic status, and environment. Self-discipline is only one part of the whole, and broader understanding and support are often needed to make lasting changes.
Sleep is a key part of well-being and has a great impact on hormone function, energy levels, and mood. Sufficient and quality sleep supports better dietary choices, helps with stress management, and promotes physical activity, which is important in lifestyle change.
A flexible relationship with food means the ability to eat intuitively and enjoyably without strict rules or guilt. It includes listening to the body's hunger and satiety signals and the ability to enjoy all foods in moderation.
