

Low-threshold chat support for superiors quickly
The supervisory work is increasingly more diverse and requires a wide range of skills. Many issues relating to employees' health, fitness for work and absenteeism are areas where it is worthwhile to take advantage of the support offered by occupational health.
Our occupational health clients have access to the Support for supervisory work chat, which allows them to get support at a low threshold. A supervisor can contact the chat to discuss issues such as work capacity issues, challenges in the work community, staff turnover or processes related to staff work ability.
Advice is provided by occupational health nurses, who can also leave a call request to members of their own occupational health team or other professionals if necessary. The use of the chat is a preventive occupational health service (Kela1) and is charged on a time basis according to the normal hourly rate of the occupational health nurse.
The chat can be found in the OmaMehiläinen Digital Clinic. Clients who have a contract for preventive occupational health services can use the service on weekdays between 7 am and 7 pm. Similarly, customers whose contract includes medical care can access the service via the Digital Clinic's Occupational Health Centre 24/7, regardless of time and place.
If your company also has a low-threshold service, Supervisor Sparring, to support supervisors, a time can be booked based on a chat conversation. The Supervisor Sparring is run by an occupational health psychologist and you can read more about the service here.
