Mehiläinen's therapists walk alongside their customers through different stages of life, listening, encouraging, and guiding. We help overcome challenges and discover new ways to manage everyday life and feel part of their community.
We employ Finland's largest group of therapy professionals
We offer our customers of all ages extensive therapy services across Finland, both as in-person appointments and remotely. Our therapists work in our multidisciplinary expert teams at medical clinics, at our therapy practives, at Mehiläinen's public health centers, in working life services and in residental and care services.
Physiotherapy
Our physiotherapists help clients with both acute and chronic pain, as well as with long-term rehabilitation or preventing various musculoskeletal problems. They assess the underlying causes of symptoms and create personalised treatment and exercise plans that fit each client’s daily life and help improve their quality of life.
Our physiotherapists are highly trained and experienced experts in mobility and functional capacity. You can book an appointment without a doctor’s referral. If needed, our professionals will guide clients to a physician or another specialist. We work in close multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure our clients receive the best possible care.

Occupational therapy
When our customers face challenges in their daily activities or participation, or wish to improve their functional capacity due to illness, injury, or developmental differences, we are here to help. We assess each customer’s functional capacity and environment, and work together to set individual goals and choose methods that support independence, encourage participation, and strengthen a sense of belonging in everyday life.
Occupational therapy can be accessed either through self-payment or with a payment commitment. We provide therapy both in our customers’ everyday environments and at our practice. Our specialists have extensive expertise in rehabilitation and assessments for customers of all ages.

Speech therapy
If our customers or their relatives experience challenges with speech, language, communication, or swallowing due to illness, injury, or developmental differences, our speech therapists are here to help. We assess each customer’s communication abilities and identify any challenges, then work together to set individual goals and choose methods that support interaction skills, encourage participation, and improve quality of life.
Speech therapy can be accessed either through self-payment or with a payment commitment. We provide therapy both in our customers’ everyday environments and at our practice. Our specialists have extensive expertise in rehabilitation and assessments related to speech, language, communication, swallowing, and eating for customers of all ages.

Psychotherapy
Our psychotherapists provide treatment based on discussion and functional methods to support and strengthen mental well-being. Psychotherapy offers support when a customer is experiencing mental health challenges, difficulties in emotional life, or wishes to work through life crises and promote personal growth. Together, we explore the underlying causes of symptoms and the customer’s life situation, and set individual goals and methods that help deepen self-understanding, develop new coping strategies, and improve quality of life.
Psychotherapy can be accessed either through self-payment or with a payment commitment. We provide therapy at our practice. Our specialists are experienced in supporting the mental health and well-being of customers of all ages. You can seek our services if you are experiencing stress, sleep difficulties, anxiety, or need support in managing challenging life situations.
