You are welcome to my practice just as you are. I will receive you with respect and attentive listening.
I am a highly experienced specialist in psychiatry and interested in treating various psychiatric disorders. Additionally, I have special expertise in diagnosing and treating developmental neuropsychiatric disorders in adults (ADHD, autism, Tourette syndrome). I actively maintain and update my professional skills.
I see clients aged 16 and older. Senior clients are also warmly welcome to my practice.
If you wish to explore the possibility of ADHD or autism spectrum disorders, I kindly ask you to book two appointment slots and be prepared for the possibility of a third session. In the most diagnostically challenging cases, neuropsychological assessments may also be utilized if necessary.
Please note the following limitations:
I only treat clients aged 18 and older.
I do not provide driver's license medical certificates at my practice.
I only renew prescriptions for medications classified as controlled substances (PKV) for patients who have previously visited my practice.
I do not issue firearm license certificates at my practice.
I do not conduct substance abuse monitoring or driver's license evaluations related to substance use.
I do not provide statements related to court proceedings at my practice.
If you are suffering from an acute respiratory infection, I kindly ask you to primarily change your appointment to a remote consultation through Mehiläinen’s customer service.
I only renew prescriptions over the phone for patients who have previously visited my practice. For new patients, I always require a minimum 60-minute appointment first, so that I can properly familiarize myself with my patient's needs.
Welcome to my practice!
My Billing Policy:
I strive for an open and clear billing practice to ensure customer satisfaction.
The appointment duration is specified as the total time allocated. The total duration includes the time spent reviewing background information and preparing patient records. Half of the appointment fee + outpatient clinic fee will be charged for appointments that are uncancelled and unused or are cancelled on the same day as the scheduled time. The stated duration of an appointment (regardless of whether it is an in-person / video / phone appointment) will always be charged for at least the stated duration (e.g. a 60 min appointment).
Separate call times and requests not visible in public appointment booking are charged as phone appointments based on duration in increments of 10 min / 20 min / 30 min / 45 min / 60 min. The actual duration of a phone appointment also includes the time spent familiarizing oneself with documents and making notes. The total duration is always rounded up to the next increment. E.g. a phone appointment that lasts for 35 minutes (including the time spent on reviewing and documentation) will be charged as a 45 minute phone appointment.
