Introduction

Hi! I'm Hanna Syväniemi, an occupational physiotherapist. You can find me at the Kauppi office on Wednesdays, and at Finlayson on other weekdays.

In my role, I support both employees and companies in maintaining work ability, with a relaxed, solution-oriented approach that considers individual resources. You should seek my help for various musculoskeletal issues, and I can always consult a doctor if needed.

I have diverse experience in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and rheumatic diseases. I've also deepened my expertise in kinesthetics and patient transfer ergonomics in the care sector. I perform a variety of physical fitness tests, such as FMS and bicycle ergometer tests. Additionally, I conduct maritime and mast work tests, as well as smoke diving tests. For seafarer and smoke diving examinations, I ask you to contact an occupational health nurse beforehand.

You can book an appointment with me without a referral. To ensure you get the most benefit from your visit, I ask you to state the reason for your booking when making the appointment. Appointments and changes/cancellations are made through the booking system. Booked appointments must be cancelled 24 hours in advance. After this, cancelled or uncancelled appointments will be charged to the client.

Longer appointments (e.g., work ability tests or work capacity assessments): If you need a longer appointment that you cannot find in the booking calendar, please leave a call request. Special work/display screen glasses measurement: To arrange an appointment, please leave a call request and familiarize yourself with your company's special work/display screen glasses guidelines. It is important to note that only the occupational physiotherapist from your own occupational health team can advance special work glasses matters.

Varaathan työkykyarviokäyntiä varten 1,5 h ajan työfysioterapeutille.
Jos työhöntulotarkastus sisältää sekä pyörätestin, että lihaskuntotestit, varaathan työfysioterapeutille 2 h ajan.

Teen laivaväentarkastuksia. Varaa soittopyyntö laivaväenterveystarkastuksen ajanvaraukseen liittyen. Työterveyshoitajan kanssa tulee keskustella puhelimitse ja varmistaa ennen työfysioterapeutin tapaamista, että tarvittavat tutkimukset on tehty ennen kuin asiakas menee merimieslääkärille.

Tampereella ei tehdä meritarkastuksia henkilöille, jotka eivät ole aiemmin olleet merityössä. Kun henkilö tulee ensimmäistä kertaa alalle, hänelle tehdään ns. alkutarkastus Meriterveyskeskuksessa (Tampereella ei ole Meriterveyskeskusta). Teemme vain uusintatarkastuksia.

The score is the average of the specialist's ratings in Mehiläinen's Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey. In the survey, the customer is asked to rate the likelihood that they would recommend the specialist to a friend or colleague on a scale of 0–10 (10 = very likely).
