I graduated as a physiotherapist in 1999 and specialized in orthopaedic manual therapy based on the Maitland Concept in 2008. My work is founded on careful assessment, clinical reasoning, and individually tailored treatment.
I treat clients of all ages with a wide range of musculoskeletal problems. My particular areas of interest include lower limb conditions such as overuse and acute injuries, chronic pain, and both pre- and postoperative rehabilitation, for example in connection with ligament repair and joint replacement surgeries. I also work with athletes and active individuals who aim to improve movement efficiency, body control, and overall performance.
My goal is always to find and address the root cause of pain or dysfunction, using both manual techniques and specific exercise therapy. I help clients understand how their bodies function and give them the tools to manage their condition effectively in the long term.
I meet each client with genuine attention and an individual approach. Building trust and a calm atmosphere is essential to my work, allowing us to progress toward the client’s goals whether it’s pain relief, restoring movement, or enhancing performance.
I see clients in Helsinki, at the Forum and Ympyrätalo clinics, and also offer online consultations when suitable for the client’s needs.
