At Mehiläinen, we have been on a lifelong mission for 116 years. We see each human life as valuable and unique. At the same time, we play our part in ensuring a living planet and a sustainable society.

This work is partly guided by our sustainability programme, which consists of four business-critical areas: quality and customer satisfaction, innovation and financial responsibility, employee well-being and being a good employer as well as sustainable development of operations.

The sustainability programme’s areas are monitored with several indicators, the development of which is reported as part of the Sustainability Report. The programme is based on the double materiality assessment in accordance with new legislation, in which we have determined the most material impacts, risks and opportunities related to sustainability.
