We enhance business processes with modern automation. For example, our infrastructure to be transferred to cloud is typically built with Terraform. We use modern ETL solutions for processing, transferring and storing data. Mehiläinen’s strong data-driven approach and the reliably accurate BI reporting for which we are responsible play an important role in the management of our business operations and our decision-making.

We use Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure cloud services, the first of these services being by far the largest.

I have a long history in the IT organisation of Mehiläinen. My current duties, involving responsibility for infrastructure, came about as a natural continuum and development in my career. We invest in learning and support competence development by encouraging our personnel to participate in courses, training programmes and coaching in our field.
