What is included in the Introductory Check-up?
Introductory Check-up 60+ is a comprehensive dental check-up performed by a dentist, which examines:
teeth
possible cavities in teeth
the tightness and fit of fillings
the condition of occlusal surfaces
the supporting tissues of the teeth
jaw joints
masticatory muscles
oral soft tissues and mucous membrane.
Additional benefits for the introductory check-up until the end of 2026
Full jaw X-ray -50% (regular price 120 €) | The benefit is available during the introductory visit. A full jaw X-ray is taken only if necessary, upon a physician's recommendation. The benefit is valid for Introductory Check-ups between 1.9.–31.12.2026.
30 € benefit on follow-up treatment at Hammas Mehiläinen | The benefit is one-time only and can be redeemed by stating the code JATKOHOITO60 when booking an appointment or when paying at the checkout. The benefit is valid for follow-up treatment after the Introductory Check-up between 1.9.–31.1.2027.
The benefits cannot be combined with other visits or benefits.
Introductory Dental Check-up 60+ in brief
The price of the Introductory Check-up 60+ is €59 – mention the code HAMMAS60 when booking an appointment. The normal price for a dental check-up is €97.90. The price is valid on weekdays with selected dentists for appointments booked and completed by 31 December 2026.
The price is stated after the Kela reimbursement and includes the outpatient and Kanta fees. The Kela reimbursement for a dental check-up can be received every two years.
The introductory check-up is available for new customers whose last dentist visit at Mehiläinen was more than 3 years ago. The price of the introductory check-up does not include other examinations, such as X-rays. A limited number of discounted check-up appointments are available.
The examination is a completely standard, comprehensive dental check-up performed by a dentist, where you receive the dentist's individual assessment of the health status of your mouth and teeth, as well as a recommendation for further procedures. You can discuss your oral health with the dentist and ask about topics on your mind, such as dry mouth or replacing missing teeth.
