________________
I specialize in the physiotherapy of musculoskeletal (MSK) problems and pain.
I also conduct initial consultations as an occupational physiotherapist.
The Finnish Association of Physiotherapists has awarded me the title of MSK Specialist, based on extensive professional experience, further training, work as an educator, and publications (https://www.suomenfysioterapeutit.fi/jasenet/palvelut-ja-edut/fysioterapian-erikoisasiantuntija/myonnetyt-nimikkeet External link).
I have participated in developing evidence-based physiotherapy recommendations for the treatment of knee and hip osteoarthritis, underscoring my commitment to best practices in the field (https://www.terveysportti.fi/dtk/sfs/avaa?p_artikkeli=sfs00001 External link).
In my practice, I utilize a diverse range of physiotherapy methods, selected according to the client's individual needs. These include manual therapy—such as joint mobilization and manipulation and fascial manipulation (Stecco method)—as well as guidance on self-care and exercises.
The most important aspect of physiotherapy is a thorough assessment focused on the symptoms and issues you are experiencing. A physiotherapist is an expert in identifying the underlying causes of musculoskeletal pain and problems.
When necessary, I refer clients to a physician for further examination to ensure the best possible care.
My goal is to help you achieve a better quality of life, as well as improved functional and work ability.
See you at the clinic!
