I am a physiotherapist, Master of Health Sciences, and lecturer specializing in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, psychosomatic physiotherapy, and occupational health physiotherapy. When you come to my practice, you can expect a thorough assessment, individualized care, and a genuine commitment to helping you achieve your goals.
I believe that every person is unique. My approach is holistic and person-centered, taking into account the connection between body and mind as well as the factors that influence your overall health, well-being, and functional ability. My goal is not only to help relieve pain and improve movement, but also to support your long-term recovery and empower you with the knowledge and tools to manage your health with confidence.
Throughout my career, I have continuously expanded my expertise in musculoskeletal health, movement, and the body-mind connection. In addition to my physiotherapy degree, I hold a Master's degree in Health Sciences and have completed the extensive MDT (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, McKenzie Method) Diploma Program (120 ECTS). I also serve as an MDT educator in Finland. This advanced training has provided me with in-depth expertise in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and persistent pain.
My work is grounded in careful examination, evidence-based practice, and strong clinical reasoning. Together, we will identify the factors contributing to your symptoms, establish meaningful goals for your rehabilitation, and develop a personalized plan to help you achieve them. You will receive practical guidance, support, and strategies that enable you to take an active role in your recovery.
Alongside my clinical work at Mehiläinen, I work as a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy at Oulu University of Applied Sciences. Combining clinical practice, teaching, and continuous professional development allows me to provide care that is informed by both the latest research and extensive practical experience.
Whether you are seeking help for pain, movement limitations, recovery from injury, work-related challenges, or improved well-being, you are warmly welcome to my practice. I look forward to helping you move better, feel better, and regain confidence in your body.
