I am solution-focused psychotherapist. I work in a gentle, respectful, and practical way, starting from your own situation or tat of your family. It is important to me that you feel safe to be yourself i therapy and that you can talk about things that may feel difficult, confusing, or hard to put into words.
In my work, I may use music and creative methods when helpful, as sometimes emotions and experiences are easier to approach through doing and experiencing rather than only throught talking. Everything moves at your pace, you don't need to know how to do anything, and you are never required to do something that doesn't feel right for you.
I have long experience working alongside children, young people, and families. I am a Kidsskills trainer and instructor, and the developer of the psychosocial "Yo Puedo" approach, which supports everyday family life and parental well-being. I am also familiar with neurodivergent traits and challenges related to everyday functioning, and with what daily life can feel like when energy and resources are running low.
I often work with challenges related to life management, stress and overload, addiction-related difficulties, and different life transitions. You are welcome to come therapy even if you are not yet sure what exactly is wrong. It is enough to feel that you could use some support.
I accept Kela-reimbursed rehabilitation psychotherapy clients in a limited capacity. I also work with short-term therapy clients, self-paying clients, and incurance company clients. I also provide initial mental health assessment visits and welcome working with immigranta clients.
