I am a solution-focused individual psychotherapist and a trained family therapist. You can book an appointment with me for both short-term and long-term individual or family therapy. It is also possible to book support sessions.
My individual psychotherapeutic orientation is solution-focused, but I work integratively and utilize several methods and approaches (including interactional, cognitive, and solution-focused training, body-oriented psychotherapy, as well as expertise in trauma psychotherapy and scientific hypnosis). I have worked as a psychotherapist in the private sector since 2006, and before that, I spent 16 years in various roles in psychiatric care at HUS.
I have particular experience with eating disorders, attachment traumas, depression, panic and anxiety disorders, as well as life crises. I also have extensive experience as a trainer and supervisor. My work in supervision and training includes, among other things, the treatment of eating disorders, attachment relationships, and neuropsychiatric problems. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults.
I have also led groups related to, for example, parenting support and psychiatric and neuropsychiatric issues. I have completed part of my group psychotherapy studies in England. In addition, I have been involved in developing the clinical methods for child and adolescent psychiatric care at Kela, and I have worked with a family project at THL, where I have trained as a trainer and provided training for various hospital districts.
