I work as a psychotherapist (psychodynamic framework) in Mehiläinen's psychotherapy services, and you can book an appointment with me through the service. I see adult clients aged 18 and over.
You can book an appointment with me for a rehabilitation psychotherapy introductory visit, short-term psychotherapy funded by occupational health care or an insurance company, a single support and crisis counselling, an initial mental health assessment / Mielen ensikäynti, or a self-funded short-term psychotherapy period.
As a listening and client-respecting therapist, I am interested in each individual's unique life path.
In my practice, we focus on the client's current needs. The client brings the topics for discussion, whether they are thoughts swirling in their mind or feelings that are difficult to express. From these starting points, I listen and, if necessary, ask questions, striving to create an unhurried and free space. Speaking aloud with another person can help find a new, personal perspective on oneself, one's life situation, and one's decisions.
I have lived and worked in Finland and Sweden, as well as outside Europe, and I have experience working with people from different cultural backgrounds and religious communities. I respect all worldviews, religions, and non-religious beliefs.
My work experience includes accompanying people in hospitals and prisons, as well as working as a group leader with asylum seekers, especially women and children.
The possibility of collaboration is assessed after initial interviews by both the client and myself.
Welcome to my reception!
