Hi,
Did you know that you don't have to pay a fortune for OMT physiotherapy? This is great news for you if your occupational health agreement doesn't cover therapeutic and rehabilitative physiotherapy. In fact, this is great news for anyone who pays for their appointments themselves. I’ve decided to lower my rates significantly because times are tough for many.
Starting Monday, March 23, 2026, the prices for those paying for their own physiotherapy will be as follows (the prices listed here override other prices on the website):
ft OMT - 45 min (initial examination) - €98 (previously €127.50)
ft OMT 30 min (longer treatment session) - €78 (previously €115.00)
ft OMT 15 min (shorter treatment session) - €59
Over 23 years of experience has shown that a thorough examination during the first visit creates a solid foundation for effective time management moving forward. Based on my experience, the effectiveness of a treatment session is not based on the amount of time spent, but on what is done during the session. Why is this important to you? Because the length of the appointment significantly affects the price you pay.
Time has also shown that people usually come to my practice because they want relief from symptoms that disrupt or limit their daily life. Often, there is also a desire to understand the symptoms and how to improve the situation themselves. Naturally, other topics may also come up during the visits.
How does it work? Often, after a thorough initial examination, I will summarize in clear terms what the symptoms are about. If there is time left, I will also conduct a possible trial treatment or we will make a preliminary plan for the first week to assess whether our interpretation is heading in the right direction.
Follow-up visits vary between 15 and 30 minutes. You cannot book these directly online; we will schedule them together in one way or another.
Quite often, OMT physiotherapy can achieve satisfactory results in four sessions. You are also entitled to a €15 KELA reimbursement for these four sessions, regardless of whether you have a doctor’s referral or not (the reimbursement will be deducted directly from your payment for the session). You do have to be finish citizen in order to require this benefit. This reimbursement is useful because it covers office and administration fees related to the visit.
So, no matter your situation, or if you're in doubt, leave a call request. Let’s figure out together what might be the best option for you.
