Physiotherapist, Psychophysical Physiotherapist
I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2005 and specialize in psychophysical physiotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
I hold a special qualification in psychophysical physiotherapy (awarded by the Finnish Association of Physiotherapists, October 2024).
I am currently undergoing training to become a specialist in cancer physiotherapy. Cancer physiotherapy offers personalized, safe care designed to support the functional capacity, mobility, and overall well-being of individuals with cancer—from the moment of diagnosis, throughout their treatment, and beyond. There is a growing body of evidence regarding the biological effects of physical activity, including its role in inhibiting cancer growth and supporting cancer treatments.
I also have extensive experience in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions.
I am a member of the eating disorder team at Mehiläinen in the Tampere region.
I am part of the specialist team at Lasten Mehiläinen (Mehiläinen for Children).
My areas of expertise also include working with clients under KELA’s demanding medical rehabilitation scheme, such as those requiring neurological physiotherapy or physiotherapy for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
I also welcome clients using service vouchers or payment guarantees from insurance companies.
I am proficient in using the Finnish manual alphabet (fingerspelling) for communication.
A VibMat (vibroacoustic/low-frequency) mattress is available for use when needed. I treat clients from primary school age upwards.
