Olen valmistunut lääkäriksi vuonna 1998 Helsingin yliopistosta ja väitellyt tohtoriksi vuonna 2004 mieshormonien eli androgeenien vaikutusmekanismeista. Valmistuin urologiksi vuonna 2010 Helsingin yliopistosta ja tein eurooppalaisen urologitutkinnon (FEBU) vuonna 2011. Olen toiminut Mehiläisessä ammatinharjoittajana vuodesta 2011 alkaen ja vuodesta 2019 alkaen urologian valtakunnallisena vastuulääkärinä. Työssäni olen kokenut erityisen palkitsevaksi pitkäaikaiset potilassuhteet.
