I am a psychologist and a psychotherapy student (estimated graduation date 8/2027) specializing in cognitive-behavioural therapy. As part of my training, I offer both supportive counseling and shorter and longer-term therapies. My extensive experience as a psychologist, particularly from the school environment, has accustomed me to tailoring different approaches to clients' needs and resources. I have also worked in adult mental health services and can offer support for temporary crises, relationship problems, self-image, stress and life management, as well as for issues like depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
In addition to my background as a psychologist, I am also a social scientist, researching gender and body norms. This allows for a societal perspective on these questions in our work together. I am not yet a service provider for Kela's rehabilitative psychotherapy. I accept clients over 12 years of age. Please note that I only offer Sparri visits as occupational health services.
My working method is characterized by cognitive-behavioural therapy; in our sessions, we work, among other things, on identifying how thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected, and we consider what concrete changes you desire in your life and how you can move towards them. I am often described as a good listener and an analytical person; it is important to me that you feel heard and well-treated, and that together we create a shared understanding of what could help you. If you have health insurance, please check in advance with your insurance company whether it covers visits to a psychologist. This helps us plan your care.
