The multidisciplinary occupational health team
Multidisciplinary teamwork is at the core of successful occupational health cooperation.
Multidisciplinary teamwork is an important part of our operations and customer relationship management. Mehiläinen has created a clear framework for both internal and multidisciplinary work and cooperation with the customer. We strive to support the customer company in a multidisciplinary and versatile way and ensure that the company has access to the best expertise we have to offer. We don’t do everything at the same time. Instead, we continuously assess who the right person is to meet the customer’s various needs.
The Occupational Health Care Act and Decree 708/2013 also obligate occupational health care service providers to cooperate extensively with different parties to promote and maintain the health and functional capacity of working-age people.
As our occupational health customer, you will always be assigned a multidisciplinary team. Your company will carry out occupational health care cooperation with the account manager or the occupational health nurse, and the other members of the multidisciplinary team will be closely involved in the cooperation. Employees can find the contact information of your company’s designated team and send a message or book an appointment in OmaMehiläinen.
Multidisciplinary teamwork and partnership with our customers are guided by the following values:
Equality and appreciation
Proactivity, sharing and development
Low-threshold communication
Professionalism and quality
Operating culture and responsibility
Key Account Team – Strategic Partnership for Key Accounts
In key accounts, occupational health cooperation is a strategic partnership where the client, the client's business goals, and the customer experience are at the core. The goal is not just smooth service production, but long-term, continuously developing cooperation that supports the client company's operations, personnel's working ability, and decision-making.
Therefore, at Mehiläinen, a multidisciplinary key account team is appointed for key accounts, which acts as the client's partner and is responsible for the overall occupational health cooperation and its continuous development.
The Key Account Team:
- develops cooperation long-term and business-driven
- manages the overall entity systematically and proactively
- ensures smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction
For the client company, this means clarity, continuity, and occupational health cooperation that genuinely supports business operations – not just reacts to individual situations.
The Key Account Team consists of occupational health experts appointed for the client company, all of whom have a clear role in developing and managing the client relationship. The team combines multidisciplinary expertise into a comprehensive entity tailored to the client's needs.
The Key Account Team acts as the client's primary partner, coordinating the work and responsibilities of various experts and developing operating models together with the client. This ensures that cooperation is proactive, transparent, and effective, even in large and nationwide contexts.

Customer at the core – measurable value for the company
In key accounts, everything starts with one thing: the customer relationship is at the core. When the key account team acts as a strategic partner, cooperation develops long-term and produces sustainable value for the client company.
Multidisciplinary teamwork
The success of multidisciplinary teamwork also means success, cost-efficiency and timely action for the company. Multidisciplinary teamwork helps us solve challenging problems together with the customer.
The customer experience of Working Life Services is influenced by many different meetings between professionals and the customer. Our customer relationship management model is based on close partnerships with business decision-makers and human resource management.
The customer is involved in the development work, and we monitor customer satisfaction both from the point of view of the employees’ customer experience and from the point of view of supervisors and business decision-makers. Effective and efficient occupational health cooperation is based on jointly defined objectives and indicators, which are actively monitored by the multidisciplinary occupational health team.
