I work as an occupational therapist in the Northern Ostrobothnia and Meri-Lappi regions. My current service areas include Liminka, Oulu, Jääli/Kiiminki, Haukipudas, Ii, Yli-Ii, and Kemi.
I aim to carry out therapy sessions primarily in the client’s own everyday environments whenever possible. However, clinic visits and remote therapy are also available, depending on the client’s needs and goals.
Building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is very important to me. I hope that my clients can be themselves in therapy, and feel genuinely met, heard, and seen just as they are.
I approach my clients and their close networks with curiosity and openness, continuously learning from every encounter. I work in a family-centered and strengths-based way, maintaining a relaxed attitude and a sense of humor, while actively working toward goals — walking the journey together.
I am committed to continuous professional development in order to grow in my work and serve my clients in the best possible way, utilizing the latest research-based knowledge.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors and hiking, going to the gym, and enjoying music, books, and good food.
I also provide services in English.
