Mehiläinen’s new disability prevention services provide concrete development recommendations for reducing working time lost through health problems, and for increasing effective working time. We ensure that employees obtain all the support they need to continue at work in spite of their illness. We also help workplaces with the creation of a management model for early support and sickness leave.
Apart from medical considerations we also take account of the opportunities presented by vocational rehabilitation and workplace support methods. We have complemented disability prevention services with a job coach tasked with finding alternatives to extended sickness leave and retirement on disability pension.
