Vaccinations for children and babies
The objective of the national vaccination programme in Finland is to protect children as effectively as possible against infectious diseases found both in Finland and abroad. The immunity provided by vaccinations against infectious diseases usually lasts a long time, often throughout one’s entire life. Children are vaccinated during visits to the child health clinic, and schoolchildren receive vaccinations at the school nurse’s appointment. How to tell your child about what happens during vaccination
At Mehiläinen, you and your family can get all vaccinations included in the national vaccination programme. In addition, we offer vaccinations that complement the vaccination programme as well as vaccinations for travellers.
